Coincidentally, at the time of posting this, they are both "Last Seen 15 Minutes Ago".
It also makes sense because NIGHT appears to be a Troll pretending to be Conservative. Falls pretty well within something I could see knyte trying to do.
NIGHT spoke of enjoying name changes, knyte is a very high level and this is another nice fit.
They both have funny little phrases on their profiles.
Their names sound similar.

To be entirely honest, this is kind of grasping at straws. I don't use a proxy on my main (as a few others can attest, I'm based in Pennsylvania). So either NIGHT plays from a proxy in Pennsylvania or actually plays from Pennsylvania.

If the former is true, then it wouldn't make sense for me to use a proxy on my alt that's:

A. Located in any part of the US that's not New York. I use ZenMate and they kind of limit my options (but I'm okay with it because I'm lazy unless I need a good VPN to torrent while using a monitored WiFi connection).

B. Located where I live in real life...

If the latter is true, then you're right- it's no coincidence that our periods of activity overlap, perhaps even significantly so. Y'know, same time zone and all.

But just to spice things up: I have an alt. I use it specifically to get people to actually join when I want to play a 1v1 auto game (takes forever when you're L50+). Its name is a parody of a major Warlight player (it's not too hard to guess who, actually, if you know that I live in Pennsylvania- although you haven't seen my alt on forums yet, nor will you ever since it exclusively plays auto-games, real-time FFAs [which I want to get better at], etc.). And it certainly doesn't tell people that it's an alt- that would be stupid if I want to not scare people who're normally scared of high-levels away.

So I'm just kind of disappointed for two reasons:

1. You think I'd like to waste time on politics on the forum, when the only political post I've ever made was premised on the idea that it's weird how much political stuff goes on here. When I want politics, I participate in actual political sites- incidentally, if anyone has a reddit account, I would appreciate that you voted Green-Left in the Ohio River District in /r/ModelUSGov.

2. You think I'm incompetent enough to make my alt that obvious.

On a more serious note, my username isn't actually pronounced like "knight." I've always viewed it from the start as being pronounced like the Old English version of "knife," where the k isn't silent.

Just because it was funny for me to imagine an Anglo-Saxon brawler threatening to shank someone with a kuh-nife.

I'm not going to use Tor for Warlight anytime soon. ZenMate does the basic job- when I want to use a non-US IP, I go with ZenMate. When I want to use a specific region's IP, I just find a good proxy server. When I want to watch BBC iPlayer (so when there's a major international sporting event going on, where US coverage sucks), I use ExpatShield, etc. When I want to pirate a game that I already bought (just to laugh at the university when they call me in and tell me to delete it), I use my actual connection. When I want to download the leak to a Muse album a different version of which I already pre-ordered, I use a real VPN- just to be safe.

Different tools for different situations. :)

My main wouldn't have blacklisted my alt or tried to explain to it how picks work. Try again, not that it's remotely easy to figure out my main.

Let's be real, though, Genghis- confusing knyte and me is even worse than confusing Hamilcar and Hasdrubal. You need to up your game.
