Unless I'm missing something, standard settings--60% offensive kill rate, 70% defensive kill rate--with 0 luck.

Neither I nor more opponent understand what happened in our game.

In turn 7, I attacked Nitra from Lower Austria. Fifty armies attacked 40. The attacker lost 27, the defender lost 30.

In turn 14, he attacked Northern Norway from Lapland. Fifty armies attacked 44. This time the attacker lost 30, the defender lost 30.

Actually, as I type this out and start to think it through, maybe it makes sense to me. But I'm bad at math. Anyway someone school us dummies.

40*0,7=28

Try checking out menu/analyze attack.
You can find there a diagram, that should clear things out.

As for the topic, watch turn more carefully. Attacker losses first instance it is 28, not 27, in 2nd it's 31, not 30.

It's nice that there are lot of polish players. I'm a polak myself, but family moved to US of A when i was 3.
