Think about it? If your a mapmaker you have an idea.. You decide to make a map.. You do it taking vast amounts of your time.. You finish it and give it colour to give it eye-catching detail.. Your happy with yourself that you've completed a map. Than you go onto the forums and find out that it's nominated for worst map of the month..

Even if a map-maker does make the most horrible of maps they shouldn't be abused or given publicism like this thread for how bad it is.. They should be praised.. For devoting their time making a map for all of us to play.. They get no benefits..

So.. In conclusion map-makers should be praised and not be given threads like this discouraging map-making

Map-makers should be encouraged to make more maps and not discouraged with threads like these..

I dont think this map is supposed to be played as 1vs1...

No disrespect intended to the map's author.

Many maps are beautiful in their own right, and serve to fill a hole in the world that would exist without them. Many maps are works of art; in that case, their form outweighs their functional use.

I made up this award not to insult a map or its author, but to poke fun at maps that were obviously never designed with 1v1 intended ^_^

I'm pretty positive not everyone makes the maps exclusively for 1v1 games...

...Though I have to agree just seeing this map got me a headache. I can't see any practical use for that map - not 1v1s, not ffas, not team games, not even diplos. :I

That's bull and you know it. If you really did not mean any disrespect, you would have used a title such as "maps which are unsuitable for 1vs1 play", not mention the word "bad" anywhere and probably include something along the lines of "while this might be a nice map for team vs team ...".

More to the point, you probably wouldn't have made this thread at all.

I understand, FK. You're just saying that map would be one of the worst 1v1 maps out there. I would enjoy playing maybe a 6v6 or something on it.

On the map page, it says it's RPG style play. Diplomacy/Rp purposes. Makes sense.

I disagree. I can't see that being used in a fun diplomacy. The map is all around the same literally everywhere, income mechanics are weird and unpredictable, the map gives me seizures upon seeing it and has a serioous chokepoint factor, meaning the winner is whoever the hell has the most abandon and bomb cards.
