America has dug too deep to get itself out of international affairs, unfortunately. The best it can do now is to help avoid wars, which isn't going so well. That Iran nuclear deal is going to blow up in someone's face.

No, it can avoid wars. It's not dug deep at all. It would just lose loads of international power and certain resources like oil would be more expensive. Arabs and Afghans don't hate America inherently - they hate it because it has been meddling and influencing the region. Assuming September 11 attacks are done by terrorists, still, all you need is a much better air defence system, which America could divert it's invasion military money to it's defence military money.

"America has dug too deep to get itself" is just a phrase that folk use when they don't want to get out of "what they have dug".

Think about it this way, all the original superpowers (Spain, Portugal, France, Britain) are now giggling at what the USA is going through. Because they've already been through it. After he end of WW2 when the USA and Russia emerged as the worlds sole Superpowers we've been meddling in affairs we shouldn't have. Again, someone coming from Germany is probably harboring more hatred about the fact that his country lost two major world wars, one due to the fact of the USA, the other I didn't spend enough time on researching so someone come up with the answer.

Not only does Trump have those political views, he's got this mentality and attitude that would get the US in a lot of trouble. What if Putin made fun of his hair? World War 3 right there.

Ben is a doctor. Not a president.

None of them are a president...

Trump is a loose cannon. He's never held public office, and a number of his political views have done a 180 in recent years. I have no idea what he'd do if he were in office. Add to that his habit of making inflammatory, divisive, and highly exaggerated/untrue comments. I trust Trump less than Hillary (and that's saying something).

Ben Carson seems like a brilliant guy (with a sense of humor), but his lack of experience, combined with some of his proposed policies, make me unlikely to vote for him.

Of the 3 running who've never held office, I'd be most likely to vote for Carly Fiorina. You get some of the directness people like in Trump without having to vote for the Trumpinator.

For president, I'd vote for Rubio or Kasich over those who haven't held office, and my favorite Democrat thus far is Sanders.

On the Republican side Marco Rubio is definitely my top choice. If not him then possibly Ben Carson.

On the Democrat side my top pick would have to be Sanders seeing that Hillary Clinton is the only other one at the moment...
