Excuse me can you explain what loss delaying is? Is it something where you have a few games you're going to lose, so you do them all in one batch? I don't understand how this would affect anything though. Clearly something I'm missing.

You have some games on the ladder that you're clearly going to lose, so you play slowly in those and quickly in games you're going to win. This enables you to inflate your rating. You then surrender those games after you've left the ladder.

Depends on the amount of stalling I guess. Sometimes I take the full boot time to consider my options when I think I have lost, yet keep playing my other games (while I simmer ideas on the tricky one). Then when I get to end of boot time and I can't think of a way to turn it around, I surrender. It usually isn't a batch for me though, and like I said I don't stall turns. I just give it the full turn amount to make sure.

What is shady about taking the full turn amount? You are allowed 3 days, what is wrong with taking 3 days?

Nothing at all chris. But it's just ridiculous that gnuff tried to make a run, failed it, ended up rank 3 and leaves the ladder. After that he surrenders his games from those at least 3 were clearly lost. Not worthy a good player.

Looking at his games, he did not stall on Noobs, that was still in doubt. Anakin games was stalled a turn for sure. Mr Z game was stalled the full boot time, but no additional turns. Koala game was not stalled. Surrendered turn/day it was decided.

So really what I see is he stalled 1 game an extra turn (and full boot time) and stalled another game the full boot time.

Gnuff's arrogance is well-documented by this point. Abandoning his clan after refusing to allow others to help restore it, stalling losses, cheating on ladders and, once being exposed for the crime, being proud of it ... this man has no morals.

Chris why do you even defend it? It's more than obvious that he waited with surrenders in multiple games. He always wants others to think how great he is, but exactly actions like that make him just ridiculous. he tries to hide his losses so the community sees him only when he's rank 3 (pity it wasn't higher).

Technically, he hasn't. My memory is fuzzy, but he's taken #1 twice so far. The first time he only got to rank #2, so he asked #1 to leave the ladder for a day, thus giving him the rank he finally wanted.

The second time he obtained #1 was by playing his alt, which was already at a high enough rating to boost him to #1. He actually hasn't arguably taken #1 on the ladder so far.

It's ridicolous . Check games. I probably stalled for not more than 3 total turns. I planned to leave ladder yesterday anyway, as i had summer holiday. I played for fun, i wasn't looking for a run.

I didnt check the games, but as far as i can tell you just stated that you did infact delay losses "I...stalled for...3...turn(sic)". Stop doing it you nugget. Not because people will call you out on it, but because its annoying for the people you play against, empathise.

lol. apart the fact that techinally i didn't stalled at all, because 3 turns splitted in 3 games is 1 more turns for game. If you check 2 of them, was hard for me understand the exact income of opponent before last turn. Without mention i surrendet vs noobschool where the game was still on going.

What is bad, people attack me even when there is nothing wrong. Before say i stalled, check the games, and you will see i did not.
