I urge you to do so.All of them are extremists;many are right winged and fascist;only a few are really communist.
And they are highly hurting the freedom of speech.They seem to support the freedom of speech,but they don't.They are suppressing all players with a bit different ideas,they are centralistic and one instance-2 with the generalissimus(the clan founder & leader)-keeps all of the power for themselves.Ideas to open the government towards new or lower-leveled players are blocked by the high minister and the generalissimus.Every rival is thrown out immediatly as well as everyone who is slightly critizing the government.
As a summary:
It is terrible.It's like Germany under Hitler: Repressive and Suppressive and Autocratic.
You as normal clan member have no free will nor chance to rise up.
And most of the governments members are comming from the USA irl and are highly prejudiced if you try to critize the USA or say the truth about something.The truth is not accepted by the ones who keep all the power.

Germany under Hitler - great place. He destroyed unemployment, and he was kind to the average German. He donated his whole salary to the German Injured Worker's Fund and he focused Germany on the sciences - for the average German, this meant more and better medicines. He founded the cheap and affordable car (Volkswagen).

And USSR clan, from other testimonies, is a great place, truly.

He was pretty successful. He did not put them in massive war, also. Britain and France declared war on Germany, and he was winning against them mostly as well. France went down quickly, Britain could have been destroyed, just if Russia was not declared war on (and Japan did not war on America, as well).

But the war, without Russia or America would be a victory, making even more land and jobs for Germanics.

That's basically what Hitler did.

Hitler's good achievements are virtually erased because of the horrid, evil things that he has ordered, but that doesn't mean that Germany was a good place to live 1934-1940, and depending on where you lived, 1933-1944.

Sounds like USSR clan has the right idea.

Not every clan is cut out for every player. We all have our own niche that we fill. Just because USSR didn't meet your needs doesn't mean you need to come to the public forums to blast them. I know quite a few people in the leadership there and honestly, they're a pretty good group. Having said that, USSR is not the type of clan that I would be happy in.

I guess I'm just trying to say, find yourself a new clan more suited to your interest and move on with life. Don't waste time bad-mouthing people who are doing a fundamentally good job at what they do.

And no one's entitled to clan management. Someone else paid for the clan- it is, for all intents and purposes, a piece of property. They can run it however they see fit- and that includes not giving every single member a position of power within a "government."


Don't expect all clans to be run like democratic governments any more than you expect a business to be run that way.

What you're claiming strikes me as odd. Most of the USSR clan members I've seen posting on the forums are quite far from being either right-wing or fascist. Many are quite the opposite.

As for the clan's inner management, well, it's mostly their business. A clan leader is free to run their clan as he/she sees fit. If a clan leader performs badly than people are free to jump ship and than the clan will sink.

The clan has rules which you broke Duke, you are not a special little star who is exempt. About the government thing, I made this clan simply as a place for people to chat about common interests and always have people to fill up games and test their maps. The "government" is simply their so the people who help me keep things going round can be identified as well as keeping up with the theme. All in all this is an online risk game, you're taking it too serious.

We've already been through this before: read Warlight's terms & conditions before you prattle on about freedom of speech. It's a myth here. Doesn't exist. Corporate websites have absolute control over what can be said, when, and if Fizzer wanted to he could be a tyrant about it with no legal repercussions at all.

I'm not defending Dark Knight's position, just wanted to throw that point out there.

The USSR's rules are clearly stated on the clan page.

Rule 1 states: No swearing, immature behavior and or language that is offensive or insulting, both in the clan and outside of it.

This was put in place in order to maintain a respectful and fun gaming environment for the players within the clan. When "The Dark Knight" clicked the button to join the clan, he was agreeing to follow said rules.

He repeatedly broke them in games and the public forum. The Council that runs the clan discussed in great detail and voted fairly on the issues. The unanimous opinion was that "The Dark Knight" had broken all facets of Rule 1 and was thus removed from the clan.

Afterwards, he sent me a message threatening to kill my wife and children which perfectly demonstrated (along with this forum thread) that we made the right decision.
