TypeSomething has defeated Lech K. in the Semi-Finals game and has moved into the Championship Game!

Now we are just waiting for the Lower Bracket to catch up and find out who else will be in the Championship game, how exciting!

Yeah, I feel like Butler (sorry for all the non-US folk that wouldnt get the reference). Hopefully without the same end result. But I don't think many brackets would have had me this far. Including mine.

I'm not American and I know what you're talking about.

You can always hope you get VCU instead of UConn in this final, that should work too. ;)

CzekCzek has risen from the lower bracket to fight TypeSomething.

Interesting notes, since Marcin was planning on retiring, I gave his opponents an option to accept his surrender before the game but both of them declined. Slejer declined but then was beaten. CzekCzek declined and then beat Marcin fair and square.

After that CzekCzek took down the now third place person Maturzysta and now he's headed up to fight TypeSomething. TS has the advantage on CC in the fact that he has two chances to beat him. Could CC come back and take it all? Who will be the champion of the first Gladiator Challenge for a free membership!?

and there's one more fun fact. This tournament so far has almost taken 3 months. That is actually pretty quick for a 128 double elim tournament. Couldn't have done it without Autoboot, thats for sure

Great job everyone and thanks for making this a fairly 'quick' tournament! Hopefully we can get a bigger one going that moves faster with Single Elimination.

Yes, thank you so much for running it and for everybody else for playing. I had a blast and I really think these tournaments are a good way to promote the game. I don't know if others felt this way, but by the end I was 90% sure that I was gonna purchase a membership if I did not win. I would not have even thought about it without this tournament.
