So, I know that for territories the numbers have to fit entirely inside the territory. Is this true for Bonus Links as well? Or Can I publish a map with bonus links that are too small?

Are the default bonuses 1 or 2 digits?

I don't think there's a requirement, but if the default is to have the digits unreadable....

Default is single digits.

There's actually only going to be one bonus link on the entire map that's going to be too small, and even then just barely. It's still easily readable.

They "need" to be 16 by 16. Well, is says it's the standard, so it is possibility for exceptions I suppose. I mean, you can definitely have them bigger, and in other shapes then a Box. Not sure whether a smaller would be accepted. Can you provide a Preview map link or screenshot?

Bonus in question is Rhode Island State, and possible Vermont and New hampshire states as well.

Players sometimes notice maps that are already public that don't meet some of these requirements. Older maps that were created before these requirements existed are grandfathered in, such as the Wheel map that does not have bonus links or the United States Big map that had tiny territories. The presence of the old violations does not exempt new maps from the requirements.

Not related to my question, which is if this is actually a requirement.

I think it's fine. The requirement for territories to fit their number is mostly to make sure they don't overlap (which your bonuslink numbers don't), and to make them large enough to accurately hit with your fingertip from a mobile phone (and there's no reason to click those bonuslinks since it's very clear which area they pertain to).

I've seen maps with tighter spaces for bonus numbers than Rhode Island, you should be fine.

Imp, it's a beotch, but you can add some "mass" to the SVG to counterbalance the center point of the bonus link.

I've Already Inflated the SVG a lot; I really, REALLY don't want to do it any more.
