So he surrendered at turn 1, dooming us to a 2vs3, because he didn't like my manners to tell him that he was committing a terrible mistake (a mistake that someone at the other team committed too, so we ended up winning, just to illustrate how terrible it was). Oh, and he got the victory too, even though the childish tantrum.

Thoughts? Do my manners justify leaving the game like that? Can this be reported?

Reason why I play solo.

Can't report people for being bad teammates, unfortunately. Playing realtime team games with randoms is a huge headache.

Open seat prerequisites are nice

I was playing with a fucker - he choosed sassari(+1) on the europe 1812 map... me and other TM said to him to change to Rome or something... Then the other TM said this,German( they was from the same country) and he DIDNT CHANGE ANYTHING......

Your manners were fine. If your partner thought you were rude that is his own problem. You just wanted to emphasize on his mistake.

You can't report poor players. You can only report players who break the rules, and giving up early does not break any. Playing with randoms is always risky because a lot of randoms are very stupid. I usually play with friends instead of randoms they are generally much more reliable.

There was no need to be such a dick. Also, most people never start with one full bonus.

so you, by the full meaning coming into place by turn to, have said:

1). That their strategy sucks.
2). That their picks suck (in reality, spain and illyricum are generally good picks... as long as the third person goes to partha).
3). That they're fucked.

i also would not wish to play that game. Probably wouldn't quit, but i suspect he felt that it was worth taking the loss to avoid having you as a teammate.
Try discussing with your teammates instead of going in with a "my ideas rule and everyone else's suck" attitude. No-one wants to play with someone who tries to dictate to others

To be honest I would have quit too. I play this game to have fun, not spend my time listening to whining team mates with some superiority complex (of which half the time they are talking complete nonsense). If you can't say it nicely then don't say it at all. Manners cost nothing.

So you'e suggesting he needs to pick every spot in a single bonus so that he starts turn 1 with a bonus?

And you call him an idiot for wanting board coverage instead?

Most games a bonus at the end of turn 2 is the goal.

Start of turn 1 is just stupid. End of turn 1 is arguably a decent decision.

starting in illyricium only and spain only is not map coverage,rather its bad play in rise of rome map(i assume its RoR since he did not mention it or provided us with any link)
and when he said make sure you get atleast 1 bonus he probably meant start in more than 1 bonus and make sure you get atleast one of them completed.
