Just tried it out today, but I'm afraid to say the design looks bad.

First it does not tell you whether you have left a private note on a player.

Also you have to click on the private note to view it. It is one more click.
Some other design works much better. It shows the notes directly in their profile.
I see there is plenty of space in the profile, so why not?

Agreed. The private note system needs to be overhauled. However, it's just occurred to me that this is likely an issue on the HTML end of things, meaning that, instead of pleading to Fizzer (who'll likely not get around to this anytime soon), we should be asking Muli to implement this as a feature in his WL userscript.

agreed, having that feature was promising, but with the current bad usability it's next to useless.

There is no techncial barrier. Chances are that Fizzer does not even realise the problem (I wonder if he read this thread).
