But it is odd to see him currently playing the 1v1 ladder. It seems like you'd leave that if you are too busy to keep up. I get why he did not leave this event (because you have to start over).

Well, it says Texas (he is from the east coast, maybe New York). Many have speculated Lolowut (who is in TX) is using the account...he denies that though and says Noobschool is stationed there.

Personally, I don't care as no WL rules are being violated here (unless Frank cares). I'd just like the games to progress faster is all.

I talked with Noob before all this accusing and he told me he would be stationed in Texas. I'm very sure it's Noobschool playing.

And yeah I get it must be annoying for so many of you to wait on the slow players, but as a slow player myself there is no chance I'm going to lower the boottime. I was actually thinking of making it 5 days next season :P In all seriousness though, I want to be as few boots as possible and with a shorter boottime I'm expecting a lot of boots.

I would not mess with boot time either. It is what it is. Does not surprise me that he takes 3 days between turns, but it does surprise me a bit for him not making back to back turns (he is already in the game at that point and up to speed).

yes Setting boottime down would be a mistake. but taking at least follow up turns (when you took a turn, enter the orders for the next one) can be made easily and it slows games down a lot if you don't do that.
maybe just give a warning on the very slow Players already?

There are no prerequisites (though there should be), everyone starts in the lowest group.

If possible, I'd like to join for Season 18 please.

For anyone wondering whether it is me actually playing my account, yes I am. I moved to Texas because of the Army, that's why it says Texas.

I can say with certainty I am not stalling any of my games. I'll try to play faster. I didn't realize it was holding the entire tournament up. I've been playing that slow because I usually play from my phone, and I usually only check once a day or so. If I'm not about to get booted I don't bother with the game. Lots on my plate, but still enjoy playing here.

If you absolutely must know it's me I'll log on to Skype and we can chat again ChrisCMU. ;)

From what I could tell it was just luck that lead to both of noobschool's first games to be long games. Main reason I give him crap in the update comments is cause it's funny!

Which group is bottom - J3, J2 or J1, or is that section so packed it is just separated into 3?

J is all the people who joined this season, so all three are at the bottom together. They'll probably be expanded into J, K, L next season and the bottom next time will be L or M or something.
