What's your preference? 1.5 days? 3 days? x days? Please include your preference in the top line of your response.

For this poll consider a 1v1, 512 player, 9 rounds, double-elimination tournament. Feel free to comment on autoboot time for other formats.

The average after 11 responses (high and low discarded) is 2.7 days auto.

3 days boot for all games makes it easier so i just have to take all my turns every 2 days and never get booted.

1.5 days direct, 2 days auto. Less if it's a casual tourney.

At least 3 days direct and auto for a tournament of that size always in my opinion (if not longer, but not much need for 4 day auto or more) Any less and too many games decided by boots. Direct and Auto should be the same so that people who are boot-happy don't get an advantage

This is the most important imo, please keep them the same.

I would say 5 days direct, 7 days auto (or just 7 days direct/auto) for a long-running tournament with 512 players because some people might get very busy sometimes and can only play in weekends.

I don't like a player being booted when they are still active and will make their moves even though they become slow due to real time business. I can wait. I would like to give them enough time.

You may set pre-requisites to make sure players in are responsible and active (e.g. number of games played = 50, boot rate below 10%).

Minimum 3 days. No need to rush on multiday. That's realtime purpose.

Still I love playing PoonSquad tourneys. The thrill of avoiding the ax is worth it.
