Just wanted to pat myself on the back. Took 43 turns, I did not really think it was possible and I just started this game to try out a super aggressive strategy and see how far it could go. By turn 15 I could tell it was going to be good. by turn 20 I really thought it was possible.

I cannot tell you how many times I lost that challenge.

I don't think I will go for a round two.

Yeah congrats! :D i made it only once and luckily it was just enough for the gold achievement. After that i've newer tried again

Shouldn't doing this boost you like 5 levels or something?

If i get boosted for 5 levels i'd be even higher than ALE ^^

I could do it in 20!
I played 'normal' and when I lost I replayed like in 'Edge of tomorrow' to know where I failed.
Next time I went further.
It took me about 6-8 tries to beat it (of course it needs some luck as well..)

I can't beat it! I've stopped trying now - it pissed me off aha ^^
Where is the best place to expand/start meeting the enemy? I tried a bunch of ways, and most went badly, some went even worse :D

in youtube you can can get a very good hint where to start spreading..
If I remember there were 4 crucial points:
-when to take Caucasus N
-when to reach to North Canada (Nuvanut S)
-when to reach Svalbard S
-where and when to use blockade

Ah cheers, that's a good idea.
On my best run I blockaded the very NE corner of east russia N, almost seemed to work for a bit

I've tried so many times and still can't. So aggressive works, yeah?

Yep, I went up through the middle east and europe to get into africa south

Krzychu, 21 turns for Insane? You shouldn't need more than 15.
