I've tried to keep the set 3 promotions and 3 relegations for each group, but with drop outs the top player in each of the lower groups will gain a double promotion. There will be no double relegations.

Finally, as the 'E' groups are smaller, there will only be 5 promotion spots across the two groups, which means that only the 3rd place finisher with the most wins across the two groups will promote.

Here is the updated P/R:

• Group A: 1st-6th remain in Group A. 7th-9th relegate to Group B. (Philip B' will be removed from the league due to inactivity)

• Group B: 1st-3rd promote to Group A. 4th-7th remain in Group B. 8th-10th relegate to Group C.

• Group C: 1st double-promotes to Group A. 2nd-3rd promote to Group B. 4th-6th remain in Group C. 7th-9th relegate to Group D. (Auburn Meadow will be removed from the league due to inactivity)

• Group D: 1st double-promotes to Group B. 2nd-3rd promote to Group C. 4th-7th remain in Group D. 8th-10th relegate to Group E.

With 6/8 Sultan is looking good for second place. If he wins against Slejer he end up with 7 as the only one, but even if he looses, if Kevin wins against Slejer, Sultan is 2nd for sure. Only possibility for anything else is if Slejer wins against Kevin and Sultan if will be a 3 way tie (if Slejer looses to Slats who have only won against the buttom two) or a win for Pantelas (if Slejer wins all 3). Anything else put Sultan in 2nd. Essentially all 3 remaining games can place Sultan on second (although one of them securing only tied second). Assuming Sultan in 2nd there is a tough fight for the third promotion slot. If Kevin looses it goes to Pantelas, if he wins it is a 3 way tie or the case described above with Sultan loosing as well. In the buttom we have diplomatic immunity and Bayern relagating. (and possible Slats as well if 3 people relegate).

My money is on Sultan comming 2nd and a need for a tiebreaker tourney to decide 3rd.

Update: Slejer won against Slats. Which is not a very important game anyways, unless he wins the remaining two games as well.

Matt431 shockingly lost to ipg though meaning he confirmed indibob's Group C promotion and his staying in Group D.

See my post above. Here it is not the turtle who is holding up the games (although Sultan are in one of the two last games :P). I win, Sultan in best position for second, but Pantelas still have a shot.

2 games remaining. With Master Turtle (who may tecnically not be in turtle clan anymore, but is still slow it seems). Close battle for the group. Rocky at 7/9 is the guy to beat. If Smileylegs looses to Turtle then Rocky is 1st. If Smiley wins he either claims first (if Panagiotos looses to Turtle) or it ends up in a 3-way draw (if Pana wins vs. Turtle). So with two games to go, 3 players still have the chance at winning the group (Turtle can end up at 7/9, but cannot possible win). Smileyleg in the position of being able to decide his own faith, while Rocky can only give Turtle good advice.

Having the odd honour of not only waiting for a single player to finish his games. Despite having only 8 players in the group to begin with. Insane have completed 4 games so far (so 3 to go - this may be a long one.) and have won them all, so are in a great position to win the group. Only challenger for first is Arkanton who have won 6/7 (lost to Insane). Insane thus need win 2 of the remaining 3 games to claim first. Seems he might be loosing to Blackknight, as he is now above 2 days for this turn despite being online as I write this. Maybe he prospones the hard decision of surrender, maybe it is close so he needs to think really carefully about it. Maybe he is applying to Turtle clan and wants to show of some slow skills. Hard to say.

Season 3 will begin soon after the last group from season 2 finishes. I think it'll be a couple of weeks from now, but it can be hard to predict how long it takes for games to finish. Probably mid-November.

Just keep an eye out for your tournament invitations and the season 3 thread. Settings will be the same as for season 2.
