Yes he was. He convinced an entire country to start terror and destruction over Europe.

No doubt he was. Hitler's misdeeds tend to overshadow his accomplishments. He brought a nation that was on its knees after WWI to European dominance. He was extremely effective in garnering support and executing his policies, albeit draconian ones. He was a great leader, just a terrible person.

Yes. Fundamentally, he was a good leader, if you weren't an ethnic minority.

He had some pretty good lines.

Some say he got cut in half by Darth Vader as well... maybe some comments about his family and medical condition caused that... and the fact that if I had a lightsaber, I would cut Hitler in half too.

A great speaker? Yes.

Mmm he was a very powerful speaker, but I'm not sure he could pull off everything. He could speak publicly very well on the subjects he cared about.

He certainly had an oratorical gift that being said he made a poor leader (made too many enemies (and chose bad allies (sorry Italy ( all thought Italy did invent fascism( and he liked fascism(I have used a few to many brackets(sorry)))))), unnecessary war crimes ect).

Too be fair he would probable do a killer (get it killer) best man speech for you at your wedding(as long as he is in disguise (if you could have him teleport from the moon no strings attached))

He was great at speaking passionately about the things he believed in public.

This does not necessarily mean that he could preach a Sunday sermon or sell Sham-Wows effectively.

Most people who really put serious thought into their own belief structure can speak passionately and persuasively about it. (Recall, he had a lot of time in prison to really think over the things he believed in)

I think he was actually originally a kind of shy and unpersuasive speaker, he had to train quite a bit to get to his level of speech-making.
