I changed the settings to have the map files stored locally, but can not find where they are stored to make a backup if I change computers to avoid redownloading them

They're stored in flash local storage. See http://en.wikipedia.org/wiki/Local_Shared_Object for more.

Under what name. I did a search using warlight in my query it brought back two directories in the flash subdirectory none stating being a map folder

I don't think Flash stores LSO data as individual files -- they don't really intend for users to be manipulating them. If you're really motivated enough to want to do this, you'd probably have to invest some time in learning the LSO data format. I'm not familiar with it myself so I can't help you.

I can see you've already done this, but if anyone else has a similar problem:

It looks like there are some settings in a folder called "#cdn.warlight.net" stored here:
"%AppData%\Macromedia\Flash Player\macromedia.com\support\flashplayer\sys"

And if you open:
"%AppData%\Macromedia\Flash Player\#SharedObjects\"

Then open the folder with the rather illogical name (e.g."G42HPLO")
You'll see another folder called "cdn.warlight.net".

This folder also contains saved data.

I would back these folders up, they're not that large and I don't think there is much point in learning the LSO format to locate your map files specifically if all you want is a backup.
