Close between Turkey and Succession Wars. In the end, I went for Succession Wars because it is different.

Ignoring this week (since I have to vote for mine), I am torn a lot on what to vote for.

-Sometimes I vote for the most well done map and ignore strategic value
-Sometimes I vote just strategic (if they are all basic)
-Sometimes I vote for uniqueness

That is the thing about this, there are no rules as to what to vote for (which is why duel won).

You can't hide this Death. You're Belgian anyway and you're supporting it.

No. I made a pangea, Blortis made another...now this one? Not to mention it has no ties to actual pangea names. It may look great, but I am biased against it :)

Personally, I think we should be rewarding creativity more.

Right, that is my point. His was a different time period basically. I don't have a problem with him branching off my initial idea.

I am just saying I gravitate towards new ideas on this item.

Succession Wars seems like an interesting map. I'm surprised I've never played it. If someone wants to start a game with me on it set it up.

My choice this week was between Succession Wars and Turkey. I voted Turkey because of it's more standard gameplay. Not that I don't appreciate odd maps. Succession Wars looks fun and is the better looking map but I doubt I would ever play it as much as I have Turkey.

Pangea doesn't look like a bad map for team games. One thing I didn't like about it is that all of the bonuses within a super bonus are the same color. Some of the choke points seem harsh for such a large map.

As far as Pangeas go I think it's the 3rd best.

1. Pangea Ultima - https://www.warlight.net/Map/16170-Pangea-Ultima
Went public on 11/11/2014
The best map I've made.

2. Pangea Medium - https://www.warlight.net/Map/15973-Pangea-Medium
Went public on 6/10/2015 but would've been released in late 2014 if I hadn't made mine.
Originally I was going to base my Pangea map on this time period but since ChrisCMU was already working on this I changed mine to future Pangea but this is the Pangea everyone wanted. Unfortunately I think he may have lost interest in it halfway through because of me so he didn't do as much with it as he could've. It's a fun strategic map but I think some nicer visuals would increase it's popularity.

3. Pangea - https://www.warlight.net/Map/15568-Pangea
Went public on 10/11/2014
Not a bad map but less interesting to me than the first two.

4. Back to the Future - https://www.warlight.net/Map/5537-Back-Future
Went public on 7/31/2012
This map is okay but has problems. I should rework it. I only post this one for ChrisCMU to show that I wasn't trying to cherry pick his ideas. I was first on Pangea by over 2 years.

So Chris I hope your not still salty about the Pangea thing. I'm sorry for ruining pangea for you but look how many similar Europe maps there are. Surely we have room for two completely different Pangea strat maps. As I've said before I'm even willing to put in some svg work to make yours look nicer.

Now if you'll excuse me I need to get back to work on my snowboarding map ;)

Türkiye. I like Succession Wars, but I am biased to real world maps; Turkey has a fun hall kind of playing, which isn't all too common.
