I left the seasonal ladder simple because it is not interesting for me anymore - it is a buggy competitve system and I really do not like this luck based template (plus I had no more chance to win :P )

I don't think he realises if he plays out the last extra 4 games and loses all of them it will hurt your rating even more.

Jokes aside, I really do not want that you can't win the season (except one case - if you lose the first position because of bad template lucks (missed important first turns for example) thus maybe you can rethink about the luck factor :P ) so if you need later I can rejoin the ladder and try to gain some more points.

well i never said it's impossible to lose by bad luck (see some of MotDs games), but you can minimize that Chance for sure!

Ctrl, I think Benjamin is saying there is a huge difference between going 20-0 on Strategic 1v1 settings, and some weird local deployment, multiattack settings.

Going 20-0 in any season is very impressive, but to do it in a season where countless people know the template well, and when it is possibly the most stacked season in history would be legendary. Even 19-1 this season would be amazing considering who MoD has had to play against.

MoD I never said you stalled/delayed, I just don't want you to because it would be legendary if you win and don't delay.

Sorry Dr Walter Ego, I wasn't sure if you were a clever troll or just a troll who happens to be a pretty good player :P From the game with Robin Hood it looked like your whole aim this season is to try and bring mod as far down as possible, so I made some assumptions I shouldn't have :)

I'm not giving advice on how to bring it lower - I was just pointing out that some people still don't understand the points system on the ladder and that the extra points for games arent taken into account when realising another player's points, so it is better to get the bonus points and lose points for losing than it is to not player if you are aiming to get as low a score as possible.

Ben why would he stall/delay? it wouldn't affect his matchups anymore. The only difference it would make is if he waited out for end of season auto-finish, and that just wouldnt be cool

Eh, my motivation was reduced a lot in this way, especially after I checked the season XIV, where MoD would deserve the win a lot. So from now I will be the biggest fan of MoD for this season :D

Btw, that season presented perfect how bad the ranking system is, MoD had got only 3 defeats and he defeated Killua, but Killua was who won the season despite of his more (4) defeats.

Back to the topic, MoD recent achievements are really very impressive but not because this seasonal ladder, I think.

I mean (and hope) he will win this season, but for this he needed some helps (Markus' and mine) some lucky boot (Robin Hood and Gnuffone (though it happened in picking pahse)). I do not speak about he doesn't deserve the win, he decidely deserve it, because he still had got many very impressive wins and more because of the season XIV, he should won that season, but the ranking system bad...

When I speak about his magnificent performance, I mean rather the coin leaderboard (he won the last one and leads the present one) or his 6-0 record in clan league, etc.

So very well done MoD, keep it, and win the seasonal ladder too, gaining one more gold trophy!
