Earlier I read so many dramas about the ladders (the most popular were the stalling ones, how childish btw...) and it seems I can open a new damdy one (what an evil genius I am!). But stop for a minute, the reason of these are the cretin persons like me or the system itself?...

The system isn't perfect, but we've had this discussion before. If you have better solutions discuss them in the community and try to convince Fizzer to change the system. You don't need to ruin others' season in the process. A lot of people put effort into a season and you just ruined all that. You think MoD would have surrendered against ACL Tears if not for your stunt? You've hurt every player you played with in the process as well. Every season there are a few players who ruin it for everyone( which demonstrates why the system is bad), and this season you're that guy. I know you feel you've done a great thing, while in truth it is just the opposite.

ego stalled in the beginning. when he got a matchup with me he surrendered all his games and left the ladder.

he and Markus gifted me later on a win, but i felt like i couldn't win a season like that and surrendered to acl (a won game) so QB will get his well deserved first rank in the end.

Do you mean I left the ladder? A lot of players did the same... inter alia 50% of my first 8 opponents... they are ruined my season, just only I don't have so good lawyer than MoD :P

I ruined (but too srong word for that, rather hurted) the season only for one player, Private Pabse (I wrote sorry to him already) with that stalling.

But seems he takes this too seriously. If he didn't surrender againts ACL Tears and won the season, anybody would dispute that he deserves the win? I think no...

I only left the ladder as many others usually in every season, and after try to make a show to demonstrate better (highlight) that the system is bad.

There is a difference between leaving a season early, and leaving a season with 5-6 surrenders. Other players' rating is affected by your Elo rating, not the actual rating you see on the leader-boards(which award additional points for every completed game). So all those losses you pick, hurt your elo rating as opposed to if you just leave with a decent record.

But since you have such a high opinion of your abilities, I won't persist further in trying to get through to you.

Not to defend Dr. Ego, but Markus surrendering is just as bad as Ego doing the same unless there was some reason for it that I don't know about. I'm not sure if MoD would have surrendered his ACL Tears game if it had just been the Ego game, since Ego seemed determined to try to tank his rating. But getting 2 gift wins was probably too much for him to take. (I'm not going to count his boot wins against Robin Hood and Gnuffone, because boots do happen).

@Dr. Walter Ego: There is a place for people like you in WarLight... if you ever feel like joining the Master Hunters your posts in this thread are a good application.

i don't see a reason to just abandon the ladder when you get a matchup against a far stronger player. what if you won most/all of your other matches? you can still do quite well with a few losses, especially to players who one would assume will end up quite highly ranked. unless you are legitimately as skilled as people like MOD, you are not going to win the season anyway, heck, you can do decent even with losses to fairly low ranked players, just don't expect a win in that season. anyone who has played a season or two could have noticed this.
