@Cacao In British English it's spelt 'colour', don't be so annoying.

Uh, no. Don't be so ignorant.

It was first spelled colour, way before color was around. So it's perfectly okay to use.

lol, you know that China has the most English speakers, right?

Crap... I just looked it up to double check and I was surprisingly surprised to discover you are in fact... correct! USA has twice the English speakers of the 2nd highest country, which is in fact India! China is actually down in 22nd... Egg on my face indeed! (That statistic doesn't include Hong Kong or the 300million "learners" so... Take that how you will I suppose!)

UK is 5th, however, below Nigeria in 4th... It beggars belief!

It sounds like you're saying the english spelling of the word was around way back when the world was only in black and white, before any color (colour) existed at all.

That made me chuckle.

@cacao: stop making us americans look so ignorant.

So we've got Australia, England, India, Nigeria and some more calling it colour, but you think you're so important that erevryone else must spell it like you do, because you guys didn't want to spell it right?

I suspected some narrow-minded American would say that "colour" is wrong.

Goddamn, language is dynamic. So if in one country they spell/pronounce a word differently than in another country, both are right. This is not math, where there is always only ONE solution.
