At this point, I'm just wondering what's with the guy. And why alts are now being such a huge problem. Were always this annoying? And were there once people who actually trolled instead of alt-spammed?

Back in my day, alts were primarily used to serve as surrogates so that you couldn't directly blame a main. People tended to have 1 alt. This system was okay, many alts got exposed though.

A lot of people used them to try and get perfect stats. That's cool.

A lot of people did troll on their mains though. Like pulsey.

A lot of people made alts just to artificially construct more Forum personalities for us to talk to. That's creepy but fun.

The way alts are spammed now is awful though.
