I'm on EST... SO 3:00 PM for me. Also you know that NYSE isn't the only stock exchange, right?

Transaction fees at $10 now? If you could put a mention of that in the first comment on this thread, that'll be great for newcomers

the only way this game works is if we get the stat clan and knyte to keep track...otherwise this thread is pointless. We need rules...otherwise its just anarchic.

It has rules...
1 share of any ladder team/player's stock = $(rating)
for each stock purchased or sold you must pay $10
no buying seasonal ladder.
Dividends are paid as static money to stock owners every day at 3:00 PM EST.

I'm assuming that's just added to "total value" instead of liquid assets?

I had thought at the time, that "liquid assets" was just money that was not locked down in any investment? By that logic, dividends would go to liquid assets?

Liquid assets are called this because they can be converted quickly into something else.

The problem is that the rankings on the ladders never stay the same for a whole month, unless you're someone crazy holding on to the #1 spot for as long as possible. Dividends have to be daily to be completely accurate.
$10* (30-ladder rank) etc does seem a bit high though. Maybe a smaller daily dividend would make more sense?
