Hello everyone, I recently picked up Warlight though I played strategies before. I found a problem that whenever I join Diplogame or basically any game lots of poeple leave after 1st turn, evey turn I have to wait 10 minutes because it takes 5 mins to boot someone automatically...Ive heard that the games can be private or something, limiting the chance of trolls and people not accepting rules. I would like to join few such groups as I would love to plaz some normal games.

Play multi-day games.

There are quite a few good clans specializing in diplos (I'm in one of them), you can get in one of them.

First and foremost you have to know that it's very hard if not impossible to have a nice run on Real-Time. These private runs are mostly Multi-Day games, and open games multidays can be a bit fun too.

The problem I have with multi-day games it takes so long. I am in 5-6 right now and in every game I have had like 1 turn so far. I suppose its not possible to be part of multiple clans to be able to play different types of games. I enjoy real time games played in one sitting, I played tribalwars on speed servers or Civ5 and both oh those games are played for like3-8 hours straight.

Many people in these days have forgotten the pleasure of slowness. Try to appreciate it then you will have more fun. I have just invited you.

I suggest to play 1v1 games (doesn't have to be strat 1v1). Most people won't get booted from a 1v1.

multiday games are not intended to be played like rt games. multiday should be for finding the best moves :P

rt is better for testing out stuff quickly.

It's nigh impossible to find a stable Realtime game. Your best bet would be to find a lot of local friends and orchestrate one.
