Diplo : 8.3ish%

Diplo (Pure) : 7.8%
RP : 10%

In dplo , it is not very fast paced, people become bored and get booted. The most patient people win. As for RP , however , it has some spice due to the fact it has added roleplay into it. Nevertheless , this won't stop many diplo players (like me) to have win rates 2-4x the average. Maybe many diplo players are less skilled ,but more research Is needed to justify it.

Strat

1v1 (Start) : 55%
FFA (any) : 47%

In Strat , it is very fastpasced ,meaning less boots. Plus , many Start players are high leveled , very skillful tactitains. People are exiced to see the outcome of these games , this I why WGL exists.

Team (2v2 or 3v3) : 50%
Team (Other) : 35%

Like start ,this is fast paced. Also humans are co-operative beings. This adds excitement. Also ,some teams he pissed when their teammate get the booting. Lik strat too, Many team players are highly skilled.

I'm not exactly sure what you're asking us to discuss.
I agree that in longer games the most patient people tend to win more often (can't win if you get booted!).

In team games I've found that the team that goes in with a pre-set partner almost always wins. It's pretty rare for me to lose a 2v2 when I chose my partner in advance, but I lose way more than 50% when I go with a random partner.

A huge factor to win rates, that you're largely neglecting, is the type of players that people play against. Somebody can play Timinator 50 times, learn from it, albeit getting their ass whooped 50 times, and turn out to be a great player, and somebody can prey on 50 noobs, and not get any better. Neither one makes their win rates accurate, which is why I find them mostly irrelevant.

Yes I can get kicked in the ass by timi 50 times and rekt 50 n00bs , but the corupts any statsheet.

Everyone has differnt baseline strategy skills. And even if you got rekt by timi 50 times and somehow become a great player and vice versa. If your asking accurate. You rather ways to ask epaverage by skill baseline

Also, I do find your "FFA" rating quite funny. Assuming all players are at the same skill level (which they are obviously not), then an FFA player has between 33.3% and 2% win rate, depending on the size of FFAs they play.

Actually, the average win rate for any type of game is 1/(number of teams).

^^^ Depends on what happens when all players get booted simultaneously. If a winner is randomly chosen, then yeah.

3 player FFA: 3 / 6 (50%)
4 player FFA: 13 / 31 (42%)
5 player FFA: 5 / 11 (45%)
6 player FFA: 13 / 35 (37%)

My FFA win rates are quite a bit above average. But I only attribute that to never getting booted and beating people who do get booted. I doubt I am much above average skillwise.
