and about co2 emissions, I guess you were talking about methane emission instead, which is 4 times more polluting than co2, methane comes from animals defecation (mainly cows), and I agree this is a real danger, but again this can be solved, I am personally not for any abuses, that means only eating meat or only eating vegetables, I think the best thing is to have a decent and well balanced alimentation mixing both of them.

A question, do you consider eating insects (future food, quite popular in Asia, I personally tried it and enjoyed it) as eating meat?

18% CO2 emission equivalent. The real hypocrites are the Paris Climate Summit negotiators who are forcing countries to cut emissions without taking a stand against global consumption of meat which is equally ruinous.

While my definition of what constitutes meat comes from a religious stance, so yes I personally consider eating insects a form of meat. That being said its probably better for the environment than large scale meat production and consumption.

Angry thats one of the stupiest posts I have ever read... My entire family is vegetarian and we have no problems getting vitamins, calories or minerals. You argument is invalid.

How do you know you have the right vitamins, calories or minerals, did you consult any dieteticians?
I did not invented what I wrote, this is from some serious studies.
But again if you paid a little attention my post was to answer Jai's comments about stopping eating meat, where he obviously tries to dictate to everybody here what they have to do (religion, food or drugs), just let them live like they want.
I also said I personally know some vegetarian people and I respect them, I wont say "Oh listen, did you know only eating vegetables is not the best thing to do?". This is what I tried to point out here: telling people what is good or wrong can be offensive and also pointless.
