I'm writing this as a former clan leader ( I'll be it not very long ) a friend, and a guy who's concerned. This message concerns the Royal Falcons. I don't know their leader, cade, extremely well but in our conversations he was very wise, honorable, and genuinely kind. Ever since I can remember, the falcons were always looked down upon as a not very active, hierarchy obsessed, not very impressive members clan. Recently cade posted a thread on the public forums requesting opinions on the falcons. Me and others Made a series of comments all saying the same thing; if the falcons want to succeed they need to cut the crap and take out the dam hierarchy. A few suggested that Thomas and Colonel be removed ( Thomas because apparently he does shit and Colonel because he wastes time and is big on hierarchy ) I concur.........overwhelmingly. cade please listen to my humble advice and do what you need to do to fix this problem and if it means removing some people then by all means do what needs to be done. Many In the WOLF clan may have noticed something about me when I returned....I stopped my bitching about the clan government. For a long while I have been very actively in favor of more government activity with the newbies. However I do think Zeph has done good. I didn't realize how good he did until I ran my own clan. I learned something important, sometimes you have to make the tough call no Matter how hard it hits your reputation. Cade, I know removing some inactive or not very well liked members could be looked down upon by many but not me. Cade please, make the tough calls and do what you can to build the falcons. I mean only the best

This ain't a forum aimed at constructive feedback. The WL forums is a haven for trolls and flamers. They comment because they know it will make others feel a negative way.

Unfortunately that won't change unless Fizzer comes back to life.

I'm not a big diplo player, so I don't know most of the Falcons, but I can honestly say that when I first joined about a year ago, it seemed like the Falcons were active in the forums and a variety of game types. I really haven't seen or heard from them in a long time. That's neither positive nor negative - merely that it seems they were way more active in the WarLight community than they have been lately.

Regarding what you said about clan leadership, I mostly agree. The leader is the cultivator and guardian of the clan culture - above anything else. I've got a pretty good little group of players and haven't really had any problems. However, if anyone significantly made problems, I would totally boot. It's not about making people happy... clan membership is voluntary... if someone wants to change things away from the vision or make a bunch of unnecessary rules and stuff, the leader has got to handle it in his or her own way, but it has to be handled for the sake of the clan.

I read the other thread. It seems like Cade wants to do the work to make a difference. With that resolve and some patience, he could really make things happen.

I hope The Royal Falcons make a great comeback and grow well.

They take quite a bit of time to make decisions (the price of democracy, I guess) but they do it pretty damn right and they haven't had drama surges, unlike I expected. So indeed, Jai is doing well.

at [Wolf]Zephyrum - You're right that the time it takes to make decisions can be an obstacle to getting things done. This is certainly true if the Senators aren't active enough. Our first election started this week so hopefully we'll bring in some new faces to the Senate that will be more active.
