I don't quite get the logic in putting weed in a list of drugs including Cocaine and Heroin, It's natural and has minimal if any damaging affects. It should also be noted that good sellers I've seen sell just Marijuana or at the most shrooms as well. Two different worlds man...

You inhale a fucking plant into your body. I know that Marijuana is the least harmful thing on my list, and if you have read what I had in parentheses, you should see that it can even be helpful. But doing that on a constant recreational level is not good for your lungs.

Um when you roll a joint you put a filter on it and the most you'll get from a bong or something is resin lips. You're overestimating how much crap is taken in.

If you inhaled only pure oxygen, you would die.

Plus, who are you to tell others what they should or shouldn't inhale?

Plus, anaesthetics are often inhaled. Are you saying they should be outlawed?

Plus, inhaling Helium is hilarious and fun and totally harmless, even for little kids. Think of the children!!!!11

I have an idea, why doesn't the government legalize drugs and then tax the living S*** out of it.

Free revenue, weakening of many drug-related gangs, and now we would know who had access to said drug, and as such be able to implement laws regarding driving and drugs and other stuff.

People will attempt to do whatever they want.

Option 2: we crack down on them like a group of mad-persons, this is implemented within certain Island nations, most notably Japan.

Also to reduce damage of people, we should require people taking drugs to not have any weapons on them and implement self-driving cars.

Does nature have intentions (i.e. a mind)? Can you define and demonstrate the existence of this 'god' thingy?

the biggest benefit of legalization is cutting down the power of drug gangs. controlling the production and transportation will make drug smuggling and black marketing unprofitable. crime would be extremely reduced, we would spend much much less on prisons, and we would have more tax revenue.

there could be a miniscule rise in drug addicts, but i really think it's likely drug use would go down. drug dealers don't just sell drugs, they try to get more people addicted so they can sell more drugs (addictive drugs anyway).

i've been around all types of drug culture and i can tell you that some people are going to do drugs no matter what, and to those people it doesn't matter if drugs get legalized or not. so this is not about those people. it is about people who are still trying to be functioning responsible adults. these people should be able to be just as responsible with drugs as they are with alcohol.

What, like if you walk into an air-tight Helium-only chamber and lock yourself in? I'm talking about inhaling from a party balloon, that kind of thing. Unless you hang yourself upside-down, you're not in any danger from that.

You can also die from drinking too much water, but it's still fair to say that 'drinking water is totally harmless, even for little kids', because nobody in their right mind interprets that to mean 'drink many litres of water all at once'.

Inhaling 'natural air' can also be fatal if you inhale it through a high-pressure tube forced down your wind pipe and you're otherwise exposed to the vacuum of space.

Most drugs are bad,the only exception is alcohol if you drink it with moderation of course, it could even have a positive effect on your health (especially wine). That's why alcoholic beverages are legal thorough the world, expected in some very religious and dictatorial states. There is really nothing bad about drinking a glass of beer or wine, the bad thing is people that drink it too often on that I agree.

But what if the effect we'd obtain would be the opposite of what we'd want if we ban drugs? People will find a way to get drugs, we all know that. Except it will be illegal instead of legal, but apart from that, stuff will stay the same.

Also, forbidding the usage of all drugs is idiocy. Chocolate is a drug, why not ban chocolate? ^
