What do clans do?

1- They are a manner of grouping together associated players based upon common themes of play.

2- They are something to belong to and be proud to be a part of.

3- They give you a fancy picture next to your name which identifies you as part of your clan.

4- The clan forum.


Other than this, the clans have little significance. Rp is on the forums.

Now, when people come on this forum and start chatting bs about how clans need to improve their "image" (which is a veiled statement meaning that my clan should boot me) and that they should provide training or some crap like that... what are you on about people? If the picture next to your name is good, you will be happy. Stop moaning about nothing and commit to all your bloody games!

In all seriousness, the value of a clan is pretty much determined by what a player is willing to put into that clan. If a person floats, the clan will have zero value to them. If a person is actively investing their time and energy into that clan, than that clan can have great deal of value.

So aside from trolling the public forums, what do you do for your clan, Colonel? You don't have to post the answer here, but whatever the answer is, that is what value your clan has to you.

I do a lot for my clan. Namely, I organise clan events and I make sure that the little picture next to their names remains. Other than that, what else can I do?

well, MSF will be hosting livestreamed MSF games, and will be compiling youtube videos. you could try that for your clan.

I love how all the support for Colonel is coming from horrible clan leaders who also don't realize that they can do more than jack shit. This is why people make fun of your clans, because you'd rather claim that improvement is impossible than actually strive to improve.

The only thing Vikingers does is invite everyone to around 10 tournaments every week.
