Turns out that Gnomia is the best player in the Warlight Universe, and his panties were all in a bunch that I beat him from the (admittedly) initial advantage of strategically superior autopicks. ME!! Why hell I've played a mere <300 games! How could I possibly beat Gnomia The Destroyager! Boo hoo! All y'all, here's a dude that needs some 1v1 love, challenge him for funtimes..

As anyone can see by reading the chat, I did no crying at all, and freely conceded that I had a lucky starting position. You, on the other hand, are a sore loser - Actually hoping that I will lose in the future due to bad starting spots? That is sooooo lame, man. I never claimed to be the best player ever, I'm pretty middle of the pack stat-wise (and on the ladder,) but to act in such arrogance, as if my skill had nothing whatsover to do with my win and entry into the round of 32, that's insulting and childish, and indeed it is my deep suspicion that you are, in fact, a child.

Because obviously the forums have no OTHER crap to be clogged with :) I find it quite entertaining, really. You can pick and choose what you clicked on, the post title summed it up quite well. The purpose of the post was to incite people to challenge Gnomia to 1v1 games because apparently he's pretty awesome (his stats show that clearly enough) and thus you could know that it would be a good match. And also to point out what a loser's game it is to blame everything on luck and then wish that bad luck on your opponent when that opponent didn't crow about the victory at all. I did nothing to deserve such a sentiment other than win the game using the tools at my command, and though right now Gnomia is covered with the ineffable armor of teenagery, someday he may look back and realize how lame he was being. Or not.. <shrug> ..

I've seen topics that were WAY more idiotic than this one and Fizzer did nothing to censor them. If he wants to axe this one, it's his prerogative, won't bother me any.

Your stats show that you have a leg to stand on in saying that you are a very good player, and I commend you for them. You'd probably beat me more often than not in 1v1. Your attitude, however, taints any respect you could gain thereby, and as you grow older, you are going to find out that the world loves to stomp little douchebags with big egos. Reign it in, or be stomped, dude. And yeah, I'll stop posting. Best out of 3 on small earth grudge match, same settings as the tourney? It'd be a true honor to be bested by you if you'd just adjust your attitude a bit.

funny that i'm mentioned in the chat. I'm curious on what accounts have you beat me on Gnomia because I obviously haven't played you on that account.

PS - I only play Auto-Games while at work and when i'm half paying attention to make the time pass. Auto-Games are played much differently than ladder and tournament play.

I think that Fizzer should delete this, not because it's offensive, but because it's rediculous. I have nothing but respect for the way both of you play the game, but it's just silly to post this crap on here.

I'd pute a vote in for that on uservoice, but who knows if people would use it for its intended purpose instead of just posting in general like usual... And yeah, Ruthless, that little line about beating you in 1v1 7 times in a row is one reason I posted this, I just found it a little hard to believe, and I'd love to eat popcorn and watch a rematch between you two if it's true :)

I think this is great stuff! I embarrass myself all the time and pray that no one makes a post about me. This is what the forum is all about! I like the fact that not everyone speaks perfect English here and that no one insults people for not speaking perfect English. It did bother me that Gnomia decided to insult all Americans though and make blanket statements about them. That is racist. Gnomia you are a bigot. I always look forward for an opportunity of helping beginning players (Noob is degoratory) and meeting people from all over the world.

lol devilnis, I wouldn't put it past myself to lose to a decent player 1v1 in auto games because it's a 5 min boot game. And in those situations I tend to make dumb quick moves or even just a move so that I don't get booted. Even if he did, I don't believe it was all on the same account because by the 3rd or 4th time i'd pick up on the playstyle. I really am curious of the accounts that were used or game id's so I can go back and look.

Yeah Vespasian, I never mock people for mangled English. I mean, I'm quite sure that Gnomia's English is WAAAAY better than my Polish, so there's not much room for mockery on that account...

This is the botching forum. I certainly hope Fizz doesn't delete every post with bitching or we'd lose 75% of our postings (a goodly portion of which are made up of people bitching about other players' bitching).

I have never seen such a wellspring of terramusing quotes as Gnomia's postings. It's obviously a language issue, but they are inadvertantly funny too.

Yeah I dont think that they should be erased, I think having another forum would be better, that way it would just be more specific. and Gnomia isn't a Bigot, he's just misguided and ignorant about America as many people around the world are (I'm not going to get into the reasons or details, although I'd love to discuss them elsewhere with any of you). So do not blame him for his ignorance, it's not his fault, it's his culture and upbringing. so blame that. and as a side note I would also love to see that challenge :) Ruthless would destroy him
