Is there a way to figure out who gets first turn?

Random, I assume it would just tell you what order, but picked randomly, likely with the fair share sequence ABBABAAB for team games.

talking 1v1

I can't see where it tells you the order.

For example, in this game:

It's annoying it doesn't say, do you think that's to take into account for fog and non-movers?

Personally I just assumed it went off your first move time...

in that game after turn 1 you should have realised move orders already :)
otherwise it would be not so fair as it is

@Fleece, annoying when it shows you and opponent who moves first

the one who plays the first turn faster gets first order, then it's normal Cycle

Menu > Players > First turn speed to check

@KKND: But the first attack/transfer, do you know who will get it? in this game, it was kinda luck who was going to get the attack first.

@AltF4: In auto-picks there is no time for territory picks, are you saying that it is whomever enters the turn 1 orders in first for the attack/transfer? Because there isn't the typical "Begin" button that I see for manual picks. So if I were playing a multi-day game, or even a real-time game and I'm AFK waiting for lobby to fill, I could be at a strategic disadvantage of not being able to enter my orders before the other person.

Settings > Begin dialog (Change Begin dialog)-> Show Always!
-> Therefore you are relieved from disadvantage.
-> Second now click Settings > Nudge/Boot > Speed and who has commited their speed is displayed! Then you know if you commit under your opponents time you get first, if not your second.

-> The problem with this is, that quite a lot (especially old-time players who know that) stall the game to be last - so they could pick the advantage they need: either first or second! In team game its more complicated, but pretty much same idea applies!

Hope this Helps! I do agree its not perfect, and I would prefer the second turn to be blind first rather strategic stalling!

I have that clicked, but I get no warning in auto-pick no-luck cycle games.
