As the clan league winds down, I have come to realize that my clan could probably use some outside tutoring for the 3v3 Europe template. If you are good at 3v3 Europe and wouldn't mind playing a few games, please let know. Thanks!

Feel free to invite me if you like. Only real-time games though.

I would also suggest that you join this chat. The best way to learn is to play with good players.

I can join the tutoring game but would prefer as a guest only, for example as opposing team member or something. I don't have the time recently to tutor unless you are willing to talk via skype instead of writing - then we may talk a bit more

I probably need some practice as well, haven't played for many months, and still struggling to grasp picking concepts in 0% SR...

i still don't understand why is it so hard for some 0 wr players to pick in 0 sr
shouldn't it just be the other way around?what's so difficult in 0 sr that you can't get?
edit:-i forgot,0% wr europe can be a lottery sometimes,so yeah there's that
if you usually lose in sr,your chances of winning in wr will definitely increase :P

@Ryiro: Meta changes due to understanding the template much better have happened. Back when Pulsey played the template wasn't understood so well so picks were rather simple and play mattered more. Also 0% WR being the most prominent meant that play was nearly the whole point.

Spot on. These days I feel that many games are decided on picks by turn 1 or 2. WR puts less emphasis on expansion and gives more chance for fighting and better play to prevail.

That'll also depend on your opponent. MotD, Timi, and I drew pretty even vs Szew's team on picks in 3v3 ladder, but were dominated on the first 2 turns in terms of play. I will agree that I've been noticing more and more distributions to where 1st pick kinda decides a lot for the game. Though this might be because a greater understanding of the template brings things like that into light more. Also it's sorta like a snowball effect in a way. Disadvantageous picks force disadvantageous early moves, but this is pretty much true for all templates. WR it wasn't as apparent though for sure.

I'm one of the ninjas looking for 3v3 Europe lessons. I think I've got a pretty good basic understanding of the template, but could benefit from someone more experienced helping with anything I might be missing/misunderstanding.

I could do real time (and Skype) before the 6th, but after that it would be a lot more difficult to arrange.
