For those of you who are new to WGL, this is a weekly event hosted by experienced players. It usually consists of two LIVE tournaments, which will be broadcasted with in-depth analysis and commentary by some of the top Warlight players. The broadcast (stream) is hosted on twitch.tv

Notice that on popular request by Frankslimstat, we altered the time of sunday's game to be at same time as the saturday game usually is.


How to join:

Everyone is welcome to join the tournament lobby. We encourage all - experienced players and newbies.

We will be making a "Lobby" to test whether or not the participants signed up are active. The lobby is usually opened around 30 minutes before the actual tournament. The lobby will show up in the open tourney listings. Either you can be invited to it, or join it outright.

The easiest way to join lobby tournament is to post here. You will be included in WGL invite list, and will be invited directly into it.

Even if you post here and get thrown on WGL invite list your spot is not guaranteed.
To be included into the WGL tournament, you have to join LOBBY TOURNAMENT first. Then depending on the number of people interested, we will decide how big the real tournament will be. Usually there are slightly less open spots, than people interested. In that case it will be decided following two rules: the priority to join the tournament will be given to the "regular" participants and legends of WGL. Then the other teams will be invited, and we will use first come - first serve rule - whichever team accepts tournament faster gets in.

We are always looking for new stream hosts - if you are willing to help, and have a powerful computer AND a fast internet connection, then contact either one of the current active hosts: Malamute, Pushover, ps, Dom365, Mythonian, TheWarlightMaster.

gnuff legend list is 4 wins right? If so I am pretty certain I am on now (a 2v2 with Reza, 2 with you and last weeks 1v1)

yay! I am not the last anymore.
Still I have to say the system is flawed.
It should rate people according to their win ratio of these tournaments.

myhand I am guessing you had a message to say in your second post which you now think is irrelevant, since I doubt you made a double post asking about how to delete them.
You can't delete them, if you forget about edit then you live with it basically.

maybes are for retards, that means nothing, leaves you were you started, say yes or no, im a YES on both tourneys, btw is there a legends list for most 2nd places without a first? i think i have the recoord (6 2nd places in livestream, 0 first)

Yeah gnuff, there are many more people who have come 2nd in the livestream - I have quite a lot but cant be bothered to count - but he said without any wins, so i think he would take it with that. However that is a legend list for people who have never won a WGL tourny, which is kinda pointless tbh.

Is that aggression necessary seahawks? I don't kow if I can make it on saturday or Sunday, my coach hasn't chosen the rugby team for saturday in which case I might miss it, I might be climbing late on sunday and miss the 2v2 or just be out with friends. Some people just don't know if other plans will arise meaning they wont be able to make it, so instead of saying I will make it and then not, they say they might.

Another point, why are people telling Gnuff if they will be able to make it or not? It makes no difference whatsoever since everyone joins the same lobby, and once you are on his invite list once you don't need to ask him to add you again...

hedja: i don't know about when gnuffone or malamute create the lobby but i usually check the forum thread and make sure i invited everyone who said they were in. so, it's useful.

i use Inferno's invite list for WGL events. so i invite ALL playerthat already play in the past.

take me too into the invite list ..., and yeah post template id soon ... so that i can a bit ,you know , practice :P

X the template is decided a couple of minutes before the actual tournament goes up unless a good one is suggested beforehand, and practise isn't necessary. Secondly didn't you say you were going to leave because it was pointless or smt like that?

pointless is the point-system ... ( atleast for me , only play 1vs1 ,3vs3 75% luck)
got a bunch of holidays, so hanging out on warlight ...
