Hi everybody, so it seems things are being reworked a bit with an update on its way (?). As for the app I'm having some issues and wondering if anybody else is having the same.

I opened the app and it said an update was necessary. This was the warlight app telling me not some other app etc. So I went to the Google play store and did so. Opened it up and it worked just dandy til I got a game invite. It won't open any new games I'm invited to. I can access my current games just fine but it's the new games I can't open. Can't even accept/decline.

Is anybody else having this problem? I'm hoping Fizzer is working on it and the issue will clear but the app is worthless to me if I can't accept invites. I play from the mobile more than I do from a computer for the convenience.

Does anybody at least know what the issue may be?

I've even tried uninstalling and reinstalling to fix the problem but to no avail.

i uess the app got Troubles with the new commander Setting. was the game you've been invited to a commander game? no idea what you can do if reinstalling doesn't solve the Problem temporaly.

I don't know much about apps and updates, but I do know that the appstore isn't sending out the update yet. It may take a day or two, or who knows (someone who knows more about this than me).

What I do know for sure is you can't join games with the commander on the old version of the app. I created one on my PC fine then tried to open it on my phone and it wouldn't let me.

It seems the game I was invited to did have the commander option checked. So it seems that is my issue.

It seems odd that I was able to update the app but not get the full update then. I suppose for now all I can do is make sure I'm athere a computer to make my turns in the commander games. Hopefully I'll be able to get the full update.

The Android and iOS app won't be able to open games that use the new features (one army must remain, commanders) until the next app update. This is my next priority and I am going to work on the app updates this week.

Well that's a shame :-( wish I knew that before I signed up for the free trial.

Game made me update, when I tried to join a commander game and the setting was available to create a game w/ commanders after I signed up for free trial. (Android)

This issue was only brought to my attention from my cousins playing on iphones when they tried to join my game from an IPhone.

We play mobile only and were really excited to try the commander setting. I guess I just wasted some of my free trial. Oh well. Hopefully there's a fix soon so it's not a complete waste.

Great game otherwise, my family found this game over the holidays and those of us with girlfriends have been getting in trouble ever since. We've been playing pretty much non-stop.

I'm not sure if this is the case here, but mostly it's "normal" that iOS apps take a bit longer till updates arrive since they have to get reviewed by apple themselves before getting published. In average this takes something around 10 days.

I can't play on IOS (iPhone 5s). Apparently, my version is out of date. Currently running version 3.11.1.1. I have gone to the AppStore but there's not an update available. I haven't uninstalled and reinstalled WL.




Edit: I have switched my phone off and back on again. I do have internet connection.

You should be able to play all games that do NOT have a Commander in them. (I am, on my IPhone.)

CLicking a game with a commander gives the msg. you screenshoted.

That's what you get when you try to play a commander game. The the new update isn't out yet.
