If you made a map of clans you could put types of clans together, if you do so you maybe could create country clans, with NL, French, German Warlords and maybe some others.
@Bane - depends on the clan. The map right now is planned for 70 clans and 320 territories total. I don't want it huge since I am doing some artistic stuff on it.
@Ox - yes, I am doing it based on the clan's relevance over time (from formation to now). I don't want it to simply be a snapshot because if a bunch of people switched clans (like from XS to ONE) while making it...it would be out of date real fast.
Chris. lets make it like this: only the clans that are interested in participating will be included in the map. furthermore each of those clans needs a mapmakewr as well. There could also be a deadline for participation and finishing the map. at least make a restriction for svg size and you wont have more than 20 clans included, which will still be awesome. Sander I like your suggestion. maybe if some related clans want to make a combined realm, that might work as well. Bane the number of territories could be restricted, too. the first idea was to make as many territories as there are clan members.
perhaps you could create a map where each clan with, say, 10 or more members gets a castle, in which nine members are credited (have territories named after then), with the castles arranged in a circle around a main clan (ie. masters).
The greatest Warlight collaboration project ? hmm ... ? I think these deserve it more, as more attention was given to it and more mapmakers participated.
