I don't get that at all. Yes, they lost to a good team (Gui's), but then his rating is inflated to 2079 because 1/2 his wins are against that team above.

In the end it will even out.

Yes, but you want to play games against like rated teams. Say me, I have 9 games finished and a rating near 1900. I want a good matchup. Not a matchup vs an inflated team (I don't know them personally, they could be good), that ends up rated like 1100 later when things 'work out'

I think it was because they were incredibly lucky to get a matchup against such a highly rated team

this isn't really a Problem on the 2vs2, cause you don't Need a very high Rating when you get ranked. on the seasonal that's much more of a Problem. check out motd. he won all his games but is still not on the top 10 anymore cause he got bad opponents. you have to get an as big Rating as possible after 20 games. so that sucks badly
