Hello People :) I have recently completed my most ambitious project yet and passed a major mapmaking milestone for myself; I completed a 2000+ territory map, and it's of Afro-Eurasia, the largest landmass on earth, and home to around 6 Billion people. Here is a preview link:

I am going to need some people who are up to the challenge up doing a test game on it with me. I've already done basic testing myself, and i'm about 99% sure I got all the missing links already, but tbh you have to do games with other people, there's always 10 or 20 missing links that get through :D

That map looks amazing.
Some tips:
- When making a map as detailed as this, you may as well make each country its own country (it helps with rp and diplomacy). With this in mind, make Bahrain and other non- separate countries separate.
- Add some islands in the Indian ocean and other oceans. It will break up flow and possibly add more routes, meaning there won't be a thousand stack standoff in India and Madagascar. In addition, many of these islands are used as military based for First world countries which would help in rp.
- Switzerland's borders looks a bit funky...
- Add a ghost map of Australia. It looks a bit empty now.
- With a map with as much effort as this, you might want a signature or name. This could go where Australia is as well.

Other than that, this is definitely a 5 star map.

In reference to "Other non-separate countries", are you referring to The two western balkans bonuses and the Rwanda/Burundi Bonus? The trouble with giving these places bonuses is that i'm not entirely sure where to put the Bonus Links. I Suppose for the Balkans I could just stick all the bonus links in the Adriatic, but this is pretty confusing IMO. I actually did end up with something similar to this in west africa, where I had too many super-bonus links and it's not entirely clear what's where.

One thing to note is that my map isn't actually very detailed, it's just really big.

I probably will add some Indian ocean islands now that you mention it since it will also help make Indonesia more accessible.

There is actually a certain amount of distortion in the entire map, it's just that it's more noticeable in small countries like Switzerland, Serbia, and other small european countries. This is due to a mistake I made early in the process about stretching the map too much side-to-side, but I decided to go with it since it isn't THAT bad, plus it allows the map to have more territories.

I think I'll add a signature, since the map is actually right at the 2mb limit, and I'm pretty sure it would just not work out to add an outline there.

Alright, I've added some more Indian Ocean islands and I'm going to make a test game tonight. If you'd like to test but haven't posted yet, be sure to post here before then!

I really love the map. Old world for president! No-one needs the Americas and Australia. Now global Mongol-invasions are possible. ^^

Because... Making maps of North america or even maps that include north america is like really, really boring. I've only managed to publish one, my civil war map, but that took around 6 Months of sporadic development to complete and finally get published.

Besides, we already have a ton of world maps. Although making the biggest world map on wl(That is, the biggest that's not a hex map :P) may be an interesting Project that I'll try sometime. I've already started working on my next giant map project though, so it'll be a few weeks before I even consider starting work on it.

Okay, I made the test game. I wasn't sure if Kretoma and Mroobling were actually interested in testing, so I didn't invite you guys. If you are, you can post here and you may be able to catch the game before it starts. If it's already started though, sorry about that :( 'll likely have the map published within 1-2 weeks, and you can play it then.

I somehow managed to instantly find 2 neighbouring territories that have the same name: Solikamsk and Solikamsk. Both are located in the Perm Bonus in Western/Central Russia. I'm not sure if this is the right place to post something like that, or if PM is better?

Yeah, I think you're right. I'll note this as well. It's so awesome that There are a few people who are willing to check some of the names and make sure they're correct, as in case you hadn't noticed naming isn't really my strong suit lol.

I already started a test game unfortunately zack, but I'll probably have it published in a week or two. By then it'll be less buggy as well, so You can enjoy it more.
