Oh gawd Jeb Bush talking about Soybeans...typical low energy Jeb(?)(!)

1) Cruz did the best. Started off extremely strongly, managed to humour the audience, and obviously had practiced answers to some expected questions. Fizzled out towards the end, and got ripped by Trump , but he managed to make a strong first impression to last the rest of the night.

2) Trump started off weak, refugee answer was waffly, came off badly initially against Truz, but his rest of the night was very strong. Apart from Carson, he sounds BY FAR the most natural when talking, the others often sound like they memorize their lines.

3) Rubio has very good answers, but he sounds like a robot. Dodges a bit to some questions and is WAY too articulate to be natural. Attacks Obama way too often, maybe to avoid making enemies on the stage.

4) Every time Carson speaks he does well. He needs to get himself in the game more.

5) Kasich says that Bernie Sanders will never be president and they will sweep every state if they are against him. I love that ;D. I don't even remember what else he said.

6) Jeb Bush sounds very cringeworthy every time he talks, he tries to sound more colloquial and have some one-liners but they don't really work with him, stutters too much. Tried to jab at Trump again, but self demolished himself...again.

7) Chris Christie... meh.

Cruz's guilty smile needs to go everytime someone attacks him, with Rubio or Trump.

Does everyone remember when Rand Paul, Marco Rubio, and Ted Cruz all entered the Senate together? They were the happy-go-lucky Tea Party friends fighting Federal Government overreach? Now...about 6 years later they look as if they want to rip each other apart. Really sad state of affairs. I blame Rubio the most...he went from Tea Party to Eastern Establishment in less than 1 senate term.

I did some research on that New York issue. Turns out, that the NY governor, Mr. Cuomo, straight up disowned any conservative Republican living in New York. This is what Cruz was referring to in the debate and also when he made that apology.

Did you know that the GOP only has 470,000 registered members in NYC, which has a population of about 8.7 million. That means that only 5% of New York City is Republican.

Cruz is pretty much right with his explanation of New York Values - essentially everyone is socially liberal.
