After looking at a map, I realized the sheer number of small countries that for some reason have not been annexed. I am looking at:

Brunei
Singapore
East Timor
Bhutan
Nepal
Bahrain
Qatar
Kuwait
San Marino
Andorra
Lesotho
Swaziland
Gambia
Monaco
Luxembourg
Maldives
Comoros
Niue
and many more...

Should these small countries be annexed? Is there any positives or negatives to this? Feel free to debate.

Why isn't Belgium on that list!

The autonomy helps them with whatever their economy is. There are reasons that Luxembourg and Singapore are so damn rich.

I don't think Bhutan counts as a microstate. Its almost 2x bigger than my state and 2x bigger than Swaziland.

Brunei - would not gel well with Malaysia
Singapore - There is a reason they're rich
East Timor - yeah, they should rejoin Indonesia or Portugal, whichever they like more
Bhutan - lol, no chance. They don't deserve to be on this list
Nepal - same as Bhutan
Bahrain - but who'd they join? Perhaps Saudi, thanks to the landbridge
Qatar - No way that any leader now, or in the future will agree to this
Kuwait - and join who, Iraq? lol
San Marino - Yeah, this state has history and all, but it's time to go, after these thousands of years
Andorra - lol yeah, no point for Andorra to exist
Lesotho - enclaved countries rule!
Swaziland - nah, they deserve to stay independent. ethnic thing
Gambia - should probably join Senegal. Only exist because it was a British colony and Senegal was French
Monaco - Monaco can into France... but they won't do it. Too many private countries illegally have banks here
Luxembourg - imo should join Germany, but won't happen
Maldives - they will sink soon so it doesn't matter
Comoros - would be too complicated. africans can't afford boats
Niue - basically part of New Zealand (free association)

I like the Vatican. Its very pretty. They also secretly hide a horde of Western European art and literature and wealth within their coffers. You can't just hand that over to the corrupt Italian government.

The Vatican cannot be removed or annexed... The Vatican is independant for a reason.... Seperation of Church and State.

Microstate is different than micronation. He used the correct term. Maybe you need to look in a dictionary for the word microstate

when something is in it's micro state?
