A lot of players stall their way to success to claim a gold trophy or some bragging rights. I'd like to see who you consider as the most sporting players(List your top 3) you've encountered in competitive Warlight.

I define competitive Warlight as ladders or Clan league, since most of the top players I know, seem to really care about these results and take them seriously.

My top 3:
1. Master of desaster
Season XXI. Giving up a seasonal win is bloody hard when it is that close, especially when it's the only trophy missing from your collection. Classy move from a classy guy.

2. Sułtan Kosmitów
Every game with him is worth looking forward to. He is always gracious in defeat as well as victory.

3. Buns157/ Master Ryiro
Both of them have played the Real-time ladder with such style. No manipulation whatsoever, played every opponent that's on the ladder and beaten them and earned their way to that gold trophy.

This is just my opinion. I'm sure there are a lot of players who play the game in the right spirit and I'd love to hear your opinions.

Dead piggy for sure before he retired. He was a true legend of the old 1v1 ladder who never dragged lost games out. I think he tended to give his opponents to much credit, often surrendering when his opponent had taken an advantage over him, rather than when all hope was lost. Even so he managed the highest non-stalled rating in history until Latnox's famous run.

Thanks mate! A big shoutout for all the non stallers, non opponent pickers and overall fair players! It's you guys who make warlight a better place.

There was a thread about ladder records a few weeks ago. Every record, no matter if played fair or not got listed. That's the wrong way. We should support fairplay much more than stupid records or undeserved ladder trophies. Dead piggy was a hero.

Skill > cheating.

I'd agree with the Piggy sentiment, as I know he not only didn't stall, but was strongly opposed to others doing so. He was teaching someone way back when how to play strat 1v1, and when he found out they were stalling on the ladder he refused to play against them or help them improve any further.

My top 3 are

Piggy, for the reasons above

Sultan, for not stalling on the season, playing everyone on the rt ladder, beeing a cool guy

Many other players. Bjarke is one of my favourites. He always played how you'd like your opponent to play for years! Thanks man!

1. Master of Deseaster
For all reasons that are given above.

2. TheWarlightMaster
He's arguably the best 1v1 ME player that has not yet received his Golden Trophy. He's always been a good sport. Never stalled and was a pleasure to play.

3. Latnox
Who doesn't like Latnox? He's always played a strong game and always been willing to analyze games for opponents. He plays just as fast for fun games as competitive games and he doesn't make you feel bad about losing. He's been consistent and it's a shame he's retired now.

Very short analysis but these are my top 3 players. Many others have been good sports over the years but these stand out the most. Special thanks to them!
