Never played commanders before. I obv outplayed the guy up to my sudden elimination. Sorry imo the game was fine the way it was, "commanders" does not enhance the game in my very humble opinion.

It's one thing to lose because one has been outplayed. In that case I'm ok to lose and am usually quite gracious. It's another thing to lose due to a new feature of the game with which one is unfamiliar, and when one would otherwise be the victor. Surely you can empathize with that?

think of it as chess even if you are out playing him if you rush your king in and get him checkmated you are to blame.

Well, I think the only person you can blame for your unawareness is yourself, wouldn't you agree? You surely could have seen the Commander option in settings and if you did not know what it did, you could always check it on the wiki.

I understand this might seem a bit much... but hey, you didn't do it and preferred to learn it the hard way. That's fine as well =)
