Only ones I've heard of are the Last Airbender and Death Note...

Any suggestions?

The Last Airbender is a great one and it is very good to start as a westernized-ish one with a pretty damn good dub and stuff. Never watched Death Note but people generally say it's good.

My favorite "westernized" anime (dubbed + pleased the western fans a lot):

Digimon (Not a clumped storyline due to being divided in several seasons that have nothing to do with each other. All of them have a fairly good to great storylines. The second and third are easily my favorites. Don't have to be fully watched, just the seasons that fancy you.)

My personal favorite anime of all time:

Katekyo Hitman Reborn (Never got a dub and isn't too well known in the west, but it's pretty damn fun with a great storyline, amazing battles and unique themes. 200 chapters make it big enough to last for a while without getting a clumped storyline.)

Rick and Morty:
A crazy, sci-fi fun-time but it’s spliced with a stark dose of very visceral, very dark reality. The show imagines what it would be like if you had access to all of space and time and much of it proved to be just as awful as the world we already know. Try not to let this scare you, Tumblr. Embrace the darkness and be liberated.

Bruh. Of course it's westernized, it was made in the US. The dub is good because it is the original voice work.

I was surprised how much I enjoyed Avatar: The Last Airbender. The second Avatar series was also quite good in its own way, but the first series holds a special place for me.

What to watch depends on what you like. Try http://myanimelist.net/ for reviews and recommendations, pick a show and try it. If you don't like it, try something else. You'll find something you like pretty quick. One tip, though: Original Japanese voice with subtitles is almost always better than dubbed. Sometimes it's because the Japanese voice actors are serious professionals (which is usually true), but even if that weren't the case, most of the time the English dubbing is just horribly done. Trying to watch dubbed versions of shows after watching the original with subtitles is unbearable, IMO. There are only a very few exceptions, in my experience. One of those is the movie Akira, where both versions are good for different reasons. Kaneda is just much cooler sounding in the dub, but the original is a bit more authentic to the story/dialogue.

You could also watch :
-One punch man (12 episodes)
-Chrno Crusade (24 episodes)

But I noticed some people recommended you Cowboy Bebop and No game, no life. Start with these two series which are so good !
About Full metal alchimist and Soul Eater, I rather prefer the manga compared to the anime.

Fucking weeaboos why don't you be interested in Kendo instead. It's a physical tasking art that will discipline you and sharpen your senses while building confidence and physical stamina. Not all this lame crap that they copied from America.

Be interested in edo-era art, the way of bushido, the isolation of the culture, their overarching modern influence. The broken yet ever do unified history of daimyo, shogun and emperor. The -actual- meaning of kamikaze, beyond the direct translation.

I'll always hate you weeaboos for ruining Japan. And Germany too, with your fucking German anime.

They've probably been recommended but here are my personal favourites (I'm not a massive anime fan btw. More my Wifes thing):

Soul Eater
Full Metal Alchemist
Hellsing
Attack on Titan
Sword Art Online
.Hack (Dot hack)
Dragon Ball Z (Although Team Four Stars Dragon Ball Abridged is far better and also hilarious)t
Kill La Kill

All worth a shot at least.

+1 on knowing Deathnote!

I know Genghis is (almost) trolling, but some of the best stories I've seen come from anime. I'm talking Shakespeare-level sh*t, here.
