i installed inscape on windows 7 but now whenever i try to open it, it doesnt!

I'm sure you'll have tried all of this but as far as I am able to try and help, I suggest:
1. Restart your computer
2. Uninstall Inkscape, then reinstall it
3. Check you're installing the right version for your PC; on Inkscape's website, there is a 32-bit and 64-bit version.
