Context: Cade invites Gold to Falcons leadership chat to give advice on how to run Falcons.



Why I find this funny:

1) Gold has the guts to call good clans cancer
2) He tries to sound cool inventing new names for it
3) Can't tell the difference between "their" and "there"
4) Has no perception of the diplo clans market; it's quite saturated (CORP isn't the only other RP clan. There are several other clans willing to get a good role player / template creator in their clan, e.g. USSR, Wolves, VM, AOE, Gents, {W.U}, Juggernauts, etc.)
5) And thinks he knows how to run an RP clan, to the point where he can give advice on it



This is funny because you psychologically try to belittle us by saying "little friends at CORP". Also, how would Salty be able to answer why a good amount of us share a distaste for you? Perhaps, you call us "cancer"?

4) Not only that, but you are condescending to him for having a different opinion.
5) You make a comment that you also cannot back up. I believe CORP are better in a strategic point of view.

Points 1 and 2 are invalid.

Point 3 is just personal insults which is again proving my point you are childish and immature.

Point 4 From my point of view my perception of the Diplomacy market is very competitive. Our opinions seem to match.

Point 1 is debatable.
Point 2 Sorry I don't think your clan is great.
Point 3 Myself and SirSalty have never gotten along, Well known-fact for anyone interested in the WL Gossip..

This is actually really sad and has really just confirmed what I've always thought about you personally Ox, That you are a childish,Immature and over-hyped patriotic of your clan CORP. I challenge anyone in CORP to beat me in a best of 7 series on a strategic template.

I don't much care about the childish feud between Plat and the handful of Corp members involved, but I honestly do find it amusing if you really believe the players in CORP are strategically superior to those in 101st.

Obviously both clans have their weaker and stronger players, but I'm quite confident that 101st stronger players are much better than CORPs.

I'm not making baseless claims though, merely challenging anyone in CORP that wishes to defend that statement to attempt to do so.

Average Skill - 101st are better.
Total Skill - CORP are better.
Median Skill - Around the same.

What exactly is "Total Skill"? Just a straight sum of some sort of rating? Or based on the best players (Dr. Walter Ego/Chancho/mm/Ink/etc. vs Omniscient/Platinum/etc.)?

I can become good at 1v1 games and join one of the top clans like 101st and CORP. Who knows the sky is the limit. But I guess this thread should be destroyed as no goods has come of it.

You don't have to be good to get into CORP; 101st has slightly higher standards (or used to? I mean, they rejected me at one point in the past...).

If you have a lot of skill, you might be able to think about clans like Apex and WG. If you're not among the top few but still pretty good (top 200 range in the 1v1 ladder, usually a bit higher), you have a shot at M'Hunters/ILLUMINATI/Appalachian Warlight Federation/etc.

All the best clans are fairly elitist but once you step down a tier or two you'll find clans with decent players (top 50-100 on the 1v1 ladder, which is the case for CORP) that don't really require you to be amazing before you join.

That'd be more like Apex and [20]. I'm fairly sure I'm the only person in 101st (aside from alts of people in Lynx or Masters) that's been top 20 on the 1v1 ladder, let alone top 10, only two others that I am aware of have been top 50.

101st is far from elitist.
