Bought a membership thinking that this would be unlocked & system isn’t letting me? I’m not going to ‘demand my money back’ or anything but am rather disappointed…

These are all that members get with a membership purchased post 2.0. You'll get that ability once you gain some more levels (I don't know at which exact level you get that unlock though).

Yeah, its completely my fault for assuming. I guess I just figured that things like that would/should be automatic with purchase.
I completely am in favor of not being able to "buy an advantage" in game but not being able to "buy" the ability to set up games not only seems illogical but short sighted from a business perspective. A lot of folks seem to exclusively like playing in these big Diplo games but the chances of winning them and leveling up is very low. So a big group of people are playing in games they cant create, modify or set up themselves even if they buy a membership. Would think that decreases both Membership purchases (at least for folks more thorough than me!)and potential page views (and thus ad $).
