To Conservative: I think gays should be allowed to have civil union and say they are married and the like, but I do not think the church should perform services for them. Of course, the church has the final say, but I would leave my church if they performed a gay marriage.

As GeneralPE pointed out. Interracial marriage is not directly forbidden by the Bible, this was a myth made up by racists who simply used the Bible as a facade for their own ends.

Secondly, you missed the point of my post, by a massive mile. Whether the people who oppose gay marriage are right or wrong is totally irrelevant. Nobody deserves to be punished just for holding the "wrong" political view. Do you honestly think it's fair for people to be totally ostracized and have their lives ruined just for saying something that the homosexual community didn't like? Should someone be treated like a pariah because an old tape resurfaced that proves they used the n-word once in their life?

Modern social justice relies on mob mentality and disproportionate retribution to achieve its goals, and they say it's justified because they are "morally superior". So, answer me this, do you think using said means are justified just because a person believes they're in the high ground?

I think people discriminating on sexual orientation should be treated with the exact same level of contempt and intolerance as people discriminating on skin color.

It is perfectly rational to push for the establishment of a society where you would be priviledged over others. Humans have done it since the dawn of times. It is selfish, morally wrong and repugnant in 2016 given the social progress we have accomplished through time and education, but it is rational.
