most probably, yes. will only have music on the waiting time though, i'll cut it off once we have something to talk about.

For the template, I'm worried about the sensitivity of getting/losing first pick. How often did a game on this template become a lottery of winning the first pick? Would it be more fair if it's on no-luck-cycle instead of cycle?

I think that is what the changes in bonus values were trying to mitigate... but we will see what happens with it. The template is effectively experimental, I would think. I think when it gets played out we will have a better idea of just how sensitive the first pick is.

i don't see how the first pick would matter more in this template then the others we usually play. please elaborate.

Sure. In your linked game there is a bonus in the peninsula (blue bonus of 3). It can't be safer, and is good against the green bonus of 2.

Both Latnox and ps picked the peninsula 1st and the green bonus 2nd. Latnox got it by luck. He has the option of finishing the peninsula without letting ps know how fast he's doing it. As a result, ps had no idea how fast Latnox was working on the peninsula so ps went to check it. Without much difficulty Latnox left a blockage on the path. That blockage secured Latnox's peninsula bonus and wastelanded ps's pick.

I took that as a positional advantage by luck. Isn't it?

They were both headed for the ftb that appeared there.

i could have just sit there and expand faster elsewhere. it was my decision to storm hard and try to surprise him.

on medium earth you often have similar situations.

PS, Laku went crazy for the cookies during the stream

he can't eat cookies, it's bad for him :) he mostly eats hay, some seeds, some green vegetables and some fruits
