I've started work on a brand new map detailing Europe after the treaties of World War I and before the start of World War II:

https://www.warlight.net/Play?PreviewMap=51583

The territories are not based on administrative devision, but rather terrain and geography. The major rivers also act as barriers, limiting movement.

In addition to the Country and Region bonuses, there will also be city bonuses divided into three sub-categories - Minor Cities (Worth 1), Major Cities (Worth 2) and Capitals (Worth 3). These bonuses'links will be located in the nation's flag, so to compensate for that the cities will be named, -Minor City-, =Major City=, *Capital*, so that people can tell what territories are a city and what kind they are from a glance.

Me, too. Eurasia and Afeurasia were the first good maps to include all Asia and not be a world map.

Make Fizzer extend slot list to 60 people and Asia maps will be more useful.

This looks Great! Keep it up!

Love the Rivers added too. I've been waiting for a map with this many territories and some geography added to it as well.

I don't think so - a good world diplomacy game has, at most, ~40 folk.

I would suggest either making a few strategic crossings on rivers or drawing in little bridges to show how they connect.

Although there are two other WWII maps in production, yours looks very good.
If you have any rough estimates for the size of it, that would be good. Because if you already have over 1000 territories, you might steal the largest Warlight Map title from the 3.2K Earth

The rivers are a nice addition and those soft colors mix well together. I love it! It makes the map look more professional.

I've now sorted the countries regions moved the flags in the boxes that represent the regions. The flags will contain the country and capital bonuses.

Poland is now also done, however I won't be adding more territores for a while, since I might try to add and sort out the bonus links.

The map will also probably around 2500+ terriories, I'm not really sure :P

Cool. But do have made the anachronistic cold-war East-West split?

The regions are simply there, so I have an organised place to put the flags and don't have anything to do with the Cold War.

This is really coming along, great job!

By Far my favorite map since you've incorporated using different level cities, and plus the map is gorgeous.

I have suggestion: What about making pre-WW1 divisions as bonuses as well? To represent historical and more importantly, economic regions.
It would also be nice to make "cluster-bonuses": Clusters only give additional income when you control their supply lines (Le Havre for Paris, Hamburg for Berlin, Genoa for Milan, Leningrad for Moscow and Donbas for Kiev).
Just a suggestion. ;)

Does the Northern part of Russia look good? I tried to include all of the lakes that are in the area.

Indeed. Unlike your EU4 map, you'll spend a ton of time naming stuff. So we'll be waiting a while I bet.

With your map and Mudderducker's map, It'll be hard to choose a favorite.

Love the amount of detail you're putting into the rivers and lakes.

Northern Russia looks great btw. Can't wait for this to be completed.

Question though, will you have enough room to include North Africa and parts of the Middle East as well?

The only parts of Africa and the Middle East that will be included are probably French Algeria and Syria, though most of their territories will be huge.
