I want to make a diplo based on real army sizes and GDP... but I can't get the bonuses for about ten countries high enough (the US is 17,419, for example).

Workaround: Divide by 10 or 100 or whatever.

U.S. GDP is 17 trillion.... dividing by 100 is 170 billion... still way too big...

No s***. But you also get a starting army... which ranges from 84 (Aust.) to 7678 (DPRK).

African armies, with the exception of Egypt, aren't all that huge.

You'd be surprised... From memory something like 5 of the countries on the list are african.
