I have assigned 198 countries a number. The countries I've chosen are the 193 members of the UN plus those recognised by at least 20 UN members. Each week I will pick a country using a random number generator and we will discuss that country.

Define "relevant". The next time you eat olives, you should overthink your statement.

And I hate olives, the only thing I like about Spain is its Jamon and Jabugo. Nothing else.

After Britian, Spain was the biggest empire to grace this planet.

France is not relevant either, but Spain is even more irrelevant. It is a country that will disappear in the near future. Thanks Francisco Franco for this.

Cata I don't think you realise how strong the Catalan secessionist movement is. Putting beside my joke-blind-faith-type-thing, Catalonia would easily win a referendum. Even if Scotland had only Scots vote in the referendum, it'd be barely over 50%. Catalonia could clear 70%+.

Some provinces like Gipuzkoa and big cities such as San Sebastian/Donosti are led by Bildu a pro independence party. The rest are with PNV: Basque Nationalist Party, not independentist but nationalist, conventional Spanish parties such as PSOE or PP have almost no votes in Euskadi.
