Regrettably, I've lived my whole life in Missouri. Grew up in St Louis, raised a family in Kansas City, Missouri for 6 years and have gone on various excursions around the state at various times. While St Louis and Kansas City are not large next to other cities around the globe, together, I'm sure they constitute well over half of Missouri's total population. St Louis metro has around 2.5 million and Kansas City metro (including the parts in Kansas) is around 1.5 million. Missouri total has maybe 5 million. Maybe you could make the northern half of the state "St. Louis and Kansas City, Missouri" worth 5-6 and the southern half of the state "Ozarks" worth 2-3?

These are just suggestions as all of my numbers are unresearched.

And I realize you are doing the whole world here, so if you did include my cities, I would take it as a happy surprise.

@hankyPinky Make sure you're looking at that version when you're making suggestions^^

I feel like I'm making way too many versions of this thing :P

Check the spelling of Marseille (the city in southern France).

Marseilles is the english spelling, so it's still technically correct. I know I've probably been really inconsistent with English vs native names, but as far as I'm concerned, it's fine as long as it's correct in some form :)

Currently it is mErseilles. The english wikipedia article is called "Marseille". So it is A instead of E. The S in the end is ok.

May be you should edit the first post of this thread and put the link to the newest version there?

great job dividing the koreas, Africa, and the middle east. Mongolia might be a bit.. over divided.

A few requests:
1. Could you change the Tokyo- Hawaii Connection? It is always awkward playing a diplo when your capital borders an enemy's territory.
2. Could you divide the Phillipines and Japan into more sections? This would just make those more convenient for diplo matches.

I've already got Japan and Mongolia on my list of stuff to redo, it's just that I really, really hate redoing stuff, so I'm procrastinating a bit :)

The Tokyo connection was just a little bit of carelessness on my part, I'll get it fixed tonight.

I'm not sure about dividing the philippines more. All of the territories but one already have circles tacked on to them, and it looks a bit awkward.

Okay, I have more things I would be interested in seeing.
Hold on.. another list..

1. Could you create connections in the Persian gulf? Ex; Bahrain & Qatar to Kuwait and United Arab Emirates and Hormozgan.

United Arab Emirates to Hormozgan.

I cannot determine whether or not Hormozgan is connected to Muscat. Is there an ocean connection? There is no line.

2. France's capital (Paris) borders Belgium. Could you perhaps change this, and make Paris more central? Perhaps the Paris territory could be split between Paris and Lille?

3.The same goes for Berlin and London. But I do not believe that can be fixed.

4. Where is Sao Tome and Principe? This could provide an important connection in Africa.

Territories are named after cities, not islands

I may add these.

It's not rocket science lol :P If there's no line, there's no connection.

I'm not really sure what you have against capitals being next to another country. As you've mentioned, it's pretty unavoidable in a lot of cases, and it actually makes sense in terms of war planning. For example, the original german war plan for ww1 was to invade france via belgium and capture paris quickly.

4. Where is Sao Tome and Principe? This could provide an important connection in Africa.

A lot of africa and south america still needs to be drawn, it's just one of the numerous countries I haven't drawn yet.

Germany needs to be fixed. The names of of Dresden was used instead of "Frankfurt am Main" https://en.wikipedia.org/wiki/Frankfurt_Rhine-Main . Dresden doesn't lie there at all, it lies in the south of Berlin https://en.wikipedia.org/wiki/Dresden. Düsseldorf should be named Cologne as Cologne/Köln has much more inhabitants and is far more famous. The hole area of this region is the Rhine-Ruhr-Area: https://en.wikipedia.org/wiki/Rhine-Ruhr

I would help with testing if you're still searching for someone.

I've got it on my list of corrections, it's just that redoing stuff is one of my least favorite things to do, so I'm pretty much procrastinating until I finish up the rest of the map.

My next comment is on the pacific ocean. There should be more islands here. And here we go again, another list..

(Map to illustrate): http://www.surftrip.com/image/maps/south-pacific-map.jpg
1. Kiribati can be divided 3 ways, easily with Gilbert Islands to the west, Phoenix Islands Centrally, and Line Islands to the east.

2. Japan has no islands. What about Iwo Jima? Marcus Island? The Daito Islands? okino Torishima? Having any two of those would suffice.

3. You are missing many vital islands, such as: Guam (big one), Wake Island, Midway, and others.

4. You forgot to include several huge expanses of islands, most notably: French Polynesia and Palau.

I made this post when I was really tired, so I probably missed something. Anyways, I love this map and really hope it succeeds. Just giving you all the help I can. Sign me up for testing.

If anyone else sees something in the pacific that needs adjusting, please point it out.

Those islands were originally there, but they were too small to see without zooming in, and even when you did, they just looked like lines with two nodes due to being really, really small islands. I deleted them to save space, and as long as the circle is there, it honestly doesn't affect gameplay much.

Well, to be fair it has around 5. Just not any of the unimportant islands :D

I'll add some/all of these.
